Muehltal, 23th July 2018 – the wood processing industry is confronted with numerous national and international regulations on product marking. In addition to the required marking with CE an IPPC logo by legislature, the trade is increasingly demanding information about source and manufacturer of the product as well as data for tracing the goods. With the coding and marking system from REA JET, companies can react quickly and flexible on the most diverse market requirements. The robust printing system provides reliable, contact-free and variable marking of wood products according to requirements under most difficult conditions. Thanks to the latest interface technology, the REA JET systems are fully suitable for industry 4.0. At the wood trade fair in Klagenfurt REA JET will present state-of-the-art coding and marking solutions for all current and future coding and marking requirements of the wood processing industry.
The marking of wood places several requirements on the printing system. The coding and marking must be suitable for the different material thicknesses and structures, to provide the correct print for woods of different strengths. In addition the print must be very robust and work reliable under the most difficult conditions – dust explosion, temperature fluctuations and vibrations. The Large Character Inkjet Printer REA JET DOD 2.0, which has been further improved, has proven itself for wood marking in rough environments: The new generation impresses with duplicate production speed potential to more than 600 m/min and a multiplication of print durability. This is achieved through higher production precision and new high-tech materials that reduce wear and tear.
A highly interesting application example for manufacturer of wood products is a large logo print with several print heads. The surface of the stacked board materials serves as an advertising space and increases the degree of awareness of the respective brand.
The Piezo Inkjet Printer REA JET GK 2.0 is used for high resolution of porous surfaces. Texts, barcodes and logos can be printed flexibly and cost-effectively in a variable print height of 2 to 100 mm per print head. REA JETs industrial inks guarantee a high-contrast and sharp-edged print.
The Thermal Inkjet Printer REA JET HR marks wood and packaging contact-free, cleanly and, if required, in highest resolution. Thanks to the maintenance free HP cartridge technology, there are no additional costs for service and spare parts. Through the dispensation with solvents, the storage security effort and fire risk of consumables are significantly reduced.
For the captive marking of wood, the company has the CO2 Laser REA JET CL in its portfolio. The permanent marking is retained even under extreme conditions.
Trendsetter in the coding and marking environment is the new REA JET TITAN Platform. It is the most innovative operating concept for all coding and marking technologies from ink to laser. The true cross-device and cross-technology operating concept offers a number of possibilities that meet all common industrial operating procedures: Operation via push-turn jog-dial knob with cloves directly on the line, via tough screen or keyboard entry, browser operation via tablet or smartphone. Equally applicable is the controlling at the workstation computer or remote maintenance. Once the operating concept for a technology is learned, other technologies can also be operated without further training. In addition to cost and time savings, the risk of human misuse has been reduced significantly.
With the innovative, water based developed Bio Cleaner REA JET BC-1 400, most dried inks, primer and paints – not only those of REA JET – can be liquefied again and removed. The non-flammable universal cleaner, which is exempt from marking requirements, effectively cleans dirty workplaces and operating equipment. Since the cleaner does not contain any aggressive solvents, it is not only environmentally friendly but also does not pose a health hazard for the user. REA JET sets completely new standards with its ecological cleaning concept.
