As a global leader in tag and label printing solutions for the label converting industry, we enjoy sharing relevant news with our readers. Recently it was revealed that Hickory, North Carolina-based Shurtape Technologies, LLC has expanded its line of stock print pressure sensitive packaging tapes which are printed using hot melt technology.
New additions include the HP 240 Fragile and Pull Edge to Open/No Knife Required stock prints, along with the HP 242 Keep Frozen and Keep Refrigerated stock prints. Those handling cartons or packages sealed or taped with the packaging tapes clearly understand when a product must be frozen, a package contains a delicate or easily breakable item, etc.
Shurtape Technologies’ existing portfolio includes the HP 240 Stop if Seal is Broken and HP 240 Security Tape. The Stop if Seal is Broken print includes a cautionary message along with STOP sign, frequently used when a package has sustained damage in transit or when it is suspected a carton has been pilfered. Shurtape product marketing manager for packaging tapes Bradley Dunlap said that the expanded line includes updated prints, additional messaging and clear instructions which make the packaging tapes a great choice for manufacturers in terms of ensuring packages and cartons are processed and transported to the customer in a safe manner.
Some of Shurtape Technologies’ brands include KIP, T-Rex, Duck Brand, Frogtape, Shurtape and Painter’s Mate. With 13 facilities across the U.S., U.K., Canada, Mexico, Germany, Peru and other countries, Shurtape serves many markets including automotive, HVAC, medical, electrical, packaging and others.
