Spectrum Label Corporation Acquired By Resource Label Group, LLC

On November 2, Resource Label Group, LLC announced it had acquired Hayward, California-based Spectrum Label Corporation. Resource Label Group is a full-service provider of RFID/NFC and shrink sleeve technology along with pressure sensitive labels. Spectrum Label Corporation provides pressure sensitive labels to a variety of industries including pharmaceutical, food, and medical. New reports did not reveal financial details of the acquisition.

Founded 50 years ago, Spectrum Label provides a wide array of state-of-the-art finishing technologies and flexographic printing solutions to both regional and national clients. The company has grown into its position as a national leader in flexographic printers since it was founded in 1968.

Headquartered in Franklin, TN, Resource Label Group serves a wide array of markets including pharmaceutical, food, beverage, automotive, cannabis, household products, wine, beer, chemical and others. Some of the services the company offers include label design, compliance and inventory management, UL labels, pre-press and ink management systems.

Resource Label Group CEO and President Mike Apperson said of the acquisition that he was proud to welcome Spectrum Label owner Jerry Kwok and his team to RLG, and that the company was an exceptional fit for Resource Label given the innovative products, solid customer relationships and outstanding manufacturing processes of Spectrum Label.
