REA JET is excited about the next trade show we will be attending, the Forest Products Machinery and Equipment Exposition beginning June 10 in Atlanta! We will be in booth #709 for all who want to come by and visit, or learn more about our exceptional industrial marking and coding solutions.
This will be the 33rd expo sponsored by Southern Forest Products Association (SFPA), slated to be held at the Georgia World Congress Center beginning June 10 at 9 a.m. and going through 1 p.m. June 12. Those who attend this event, which began in 1950, can expect to see some of the biggest names in the forest products industry according to SFPAs website announcement of the event. Key representatives from the country’s largest wood products manufacturers are also expected to be in attendance at the show, where vendors will display materials handling equipment, sawmill machinery, and more.
This year’s Expo is expected to be 35% larger than the previous show, with 170 exhibitors expected to attend and 52,000 square feet of exhibits for visitors to experience. Some of the exhibitors you can expect to see include Wood-Mizer Products, Comact Equipment, Arrow Speed Controls Ltd., Gilbert Products, Hoist Liftruck Mfg., HALCO Software Systems, and more. Eric Gee, SFPA exposition director, says that “Expo remains a great venue to showcase advancements in manufacturing and new technologies.” SFPA intends to provide more space for additional exhibitors and grow the show as the forest products industry continues to recover.
A new component has been added to the Expo this year, INNOTECH, Innovations and Technology Program, one designed to educate manufacturers of wood products and secondary processors about technological advances in the industry. Those who plan to attend can get more information about show dates, accommodations, exhibitors, and more.
