MLT CreativeNews

Recently there were announcements regarding several things happening in the beverage packaging industry as the holidays approach, including the investing into HeatGenie by Whole Foods Market former Co-CEO, Walter Robb, who now sits on the Board of Directors at the Austin, TX based company. HeatGenie heats ciders, coffee, teas, hot chocolate, and liquid soups with just a twist of the lid, in two minutes or less.

Limited-edition packaging was launched for Perrier Sparkling natural mineral water, by Nestle Waters North America, based in Stamford, CT – with limited edition packaging in a striking geometric design from artist HOTTEA, aka Eric Rieger.

New packaging for the holidays for Stella Artois products, from Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis, are available at retailers across the nation, including the Stella Artois Holiday Gift Pack, containing a 750-mL corked bottle with two holiday chalices, and the 750-mL bottle on its own. According to news reports, Stella Artois will donate enough clean drinking water to someone in an underdeveloped area to last for five years, for each chalice sold.

Red Bull Energy Drink has unveiled their limited-edition Street Fighter cans for the holidays, with characters including Ken, Guile, Ryu, Zangief and Chun-Li. While the limited-edition cans honor the 30th anniversary of the video game, certain cans include codes beneath the tab that consumers can redeem for in-game value.

Zevia natural diet soda will be available in November, prior to the December 15th release of the movie “Ferdinand,” after partnering with Fox Studios in an integrated marketing campaign. Flavors available include grape, black cherry, cream soda, and ginger root beer, in commemorative six-pack cans featuring “Ferdinand” characters with a million of the Zevia packs including $5 off coupons to see the film.
