Resource Label Group recently announced the acquisition of Paragon Label, a Petaluma, California based supplier of labeling solutions for the premium wine segment. While financial details of the acquisition were not revealed, Resource Label Group hopes to broaden its reach in the wine segment as a result of the deal.
Clients of Resource will enjoy more advanced packaging solutions that enhance shelf appeal of their products due to Paragon’s flexographic and digital printing capabilities and state-of-the-art finishing technology. The majority of Paragon customers are located in Napa and Sonoma Counties according to reports. The family-owned company was launched in 1998 primarily to serve the wine industry and has expanded to include clients in the health, beauty and food industries. Paragon has also been the recipient of numerous awards for pioneering sustainable practices and exceptional flexographic printing.
Resource Label Group provides the packaging industry with shrink sleeve, pressure sensitive label and RFID/NFC technology, working with industries that include personal care, food, pharmaceutical, beverage, nutraceutical, household goods and more.
