Lumber – MLMA Convention And Trade Show 2018 Scheduled For July

The Mississippi Lumber Manufacturers Association Convention & Trade Show 2018 is just weeks away, slated to be held at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, MS July 5th through the 8th. According to Executive Director Lauren Benner, the MLMA’s mission is to serve as the primary point of contact for Mississippi sawmills, as a unified voice on topics impacting the lumber industry, and to promote the use of hardwood and southern yellow pine lumber.

Some of the activities on the agenda include the President’s Reception on the evening of July 5th, exhibitors luncheon, trade show and auction, cocktails, reception and live auction on July 6th and fishing/golf tournaments, a ladies brunch, pool party and cocktail reception on July 7th.

Some of the exhibitors attendees can expect to see at the trade show include APEX Environmental Consultants, Inc., Conifex Timber, Inc., Interfor, Canfor Southern Pine, SCS Forest Products, Timber Automation, Rex Lumber, Southeastern Timber Products, Tri-State Lumber Company, U.S. Metal Works, Inc., Lucidyne Technologies and FROMM Packaging Systems among many others.

As many as 1,000 visitors are expected to attend the event that showcases various products and services in the lumber industry including machinery and equipment and highlights topics such as sales and marketing of lumber products. Those in the lumber industry are urged to attend, save the date!
