SMARKTEC Metal Marking System – Environmentally Friendly & More!

REA Elektronik is excited to introduce an innovative new metal marking system, the REA JET US, SMARKTEC system. Designed to assist manufacturers and metal processors in identifying ingots, billets, slabs, blooms, and “hot” coils, the SMARKTEC marking system is not only environmentally friendly, but improves tracking reliability of these components through all stages of production.

Human readable text, OCR characters and 2D barcodes are a few of the aspects of this innovative new spray technology that makes product identification simple, and allows for 100% traceability in addition to automatic data collection and error-free management of inventory.

The SMARKTEC marking system utilizes REA JET spray technology and paint in applying the marking, with ductile pipes being marked at a temperature of 800 degrees C. Essentially, printed marks are heat resistant, resisting temperatures of up to 1100 degree C following the marking process.
